The use of solar panels for delivering hot water has only been a recent arrival to Ireland and the UK. They have been used for many years in Europe where the sun shines for much longer both in number of hours per day and days per year. However the increasing cost of fossil fuels and their availability or lack of it now means that people are becoming much more conscious of new ways of conserving energy.

Around 100 Millionth of one per cent of its energy ever hits the earth. Every minute enough of the suns energy reaches the earth to meet our energy requirements for a year. |
