How the System Works

The system is comprised of four main components.

1. Solar Collectors –

2. Twin Coil Insulated Water Cylinder

3. Solar Electronic Controller –

4. Pump Valve Array

 

The system works by creating a closed loop circuit from the solar collector(s) where the hear energy is harvested to the twin coil water cylinder. The circuit contains an anti-freeze heat exchange fluid that carries the heat to the water surrounding the lower coil in the water cylinder.

The pump/valve array monitors the heat exchange fluid temperature and pressure then pumps the fluid around the circuit. The system is controlled by the electronic controller. This monitors the temperature at the solar collector(s) and in the water cylinder.
